Sweet Rena
"How much evil does it take to buy your way into Paradise?"
Sweet Rena is a woman with purpose and a lust for life. She finds the evil ones, the dark vessels, and offers them a chance to be part of something better. Rena holds their hand and takes them to the South Road, the fiery path to damnation. When they die, Paul stuffs them with the sins of a world that knows only pain. Together they give devil his due one seedy motel room at a time.
Life is good for Rena, but nothing good ever lasts. All things decay, they break down, and it isn’t long before her borrowed life begins to come unraveled at the seams. Paul gets lost, caught up in the arms of another woman and her devilish faith. Rena starts missing deliveries and Lord of the South Road does not appreciate being stiffed.
Their perfect purpose begins to falter. A true and forever death is on the line, but Sweet Rena has a plan, a trinity of action that should right the scales and put her on the path to something infinitely better. Still, she’s not alone. There’s a world of evil that would like nothing more than to see her fail and to drag her down into the dark from which she came.
